it's mounted from behind the bumper (no holes). I got the bracket from here... http://www.ccmustangbrackets.com/, then just added a standard plate frame (slightly modified), nuts & bolts...

You are making me doubt my current wheel choice with that picture! I was set on the AM GT4s, always liked the Shelby's though, and this picture, well, makes my conversation with the wife that much harder!!!

I don't mean to hijack, but I am looking at the splitter on this CS style fascia? Is that a GT500 splitter? Looks great, can you post some more pics and mounting info?

Nite, I've been putting off the SHR louvers because I didn't think they would look that great on a black stang. Your car has changed my mind. Also when seeing sketches of the CS40's I thought they would look dumb since they are supposed to be a throwback to the stock wheel on the 65/66 stangs and again my mind was changed.

Nice ride!

deric, to be honest, I wasn't sure about the shr louvers either, until I'd actually installed them. glad I changed your mind!

You know I love your car. If you want to keep the retro theme, hold on for four months. I was just at SEMA and a company in TX, LoneStar wheels is making a sweet deep-dish bullitt in Black that looks like the Torq Thrusts. They had one at the show, but it isn't up on their site yet. I talked to Jeff, the owner, and he is a passionate Mustang owner. I'm waiting until Spring to buy.

If you are willing to open up your retro theme, the CSs picture here are pure sex!

If you're going retro, then I feel the Konig Beyonds with the 66 GT center cap and redline tires is the way to go :-)

pegasus, i've always admired your ride, as it's very orginal! you wouldn't happen to know if they sell those redlines in 20's would you?

They don't even sell them in 18s anymore. I've been searching Craig's list and ebay for a NOS set of them without any luck. There is a manufacturer that makes redline tires, but not sure if they make them with the rating we need. When I get closer to needing a new set, I'll contact them to see what they can workout for me.

Since I have American Muscle wheels now and have good center caps, can I just swap them with the new rims.
