Thanks for the feedback! So it looks like I need to dig deeper into the Web Electronics kit and the CDC kit and probably should give some look to the Meter4it kit as well (even though it does require splicing...).

Here's the instructions to prove it.

Webelectric install

Yup. I don't really care if people buy webelectric/CDC it's just I don't like bad info being put out. In reality both kit's are dam near identical and do the exact same thing. They also cost the same so it's just matter of which company you like more CDC or webelectric.

Leo,
Actually, it looks like your statement is only true for 2006-2007 MY vehicles. The instructions for 2005 (which I have) show the original moding the pin into the factory harness method.
I should send them an email and ask them why the full harness isn't available for the 2005. According to their web site, there was a change to the bulb harness in late 2005 (slightly different style connector, but the wiring is potted in place, so they can't insert the new wire pin). The part that irritates me is that the full harness costs exactly the same as the 2005 add on part.
At this point, I definitely am leaning towards the Web Electronics version.
I guess I don't understand what all the fuss is about plug and play systems. I mean really, installing the hard-wired kits is not hard. Anyway, I don't have a preference I just think that although the P&P is very easy, we shouldn't scare away anyone from doing a hard-wired kit based solely on the thought that it's a tough install.
This is the system that I'll be buying from SHR- basically one wire hookup and then plug and play. http://www.silverhorseracing.com/web...ategory_id=255

Meter4It - hands down. The chase is so much better than the regular sequentials. And it's really not hard to install at all.
The splicing is worth it! Do you want easy... or awesome?
And like others have mentioned, you can have regular brake lights, sequential, or chase - all with a simple change of a jumper.

well unless they changed it, cdc you had to run a wire thru a grommet, and plug it into the light bulb housing, and to run the wire they want you to cut a slice in the wiring grommet for the light bulb housing. At least when I had them you had to do this and add the 3rd bulb I think. Web electrics came fully ready to plug up, no running extra wire, and slicing gromets and what not. So like I said I have owned the cdc dynamite sequentials and you did have to modify, I am not saying it was hard but you did. Web electric, un plug the harness, and take out the bulbs, plug in the new harness and bulbs, and your done. So like I said unless they have changed theres, you are wrong they are not the same. If they did change them my apologies.
