Best shorty antenna?

What do you guys have? There are ones on eBay that are 3.5 inches... Skeptical as to if they even work. Would I be safer going around 8"?

I also shortened my stock mast. Make it any height you want and it's free. Mine's even w/ the roof line, so not that much shorter now, but not ridiculously tall either. Pic??? Don't have any. Close your eyes and pretend.

Do an antenna delete and get a windshield mounted amplified antenna. I put one in a few months ago and it works great and was easy to put in. You can pick one up from any Auto Zone type store.

Cut your stock one and be done with it. I tried a few shorty ones ordered from places like AM. All I ever found was that they caused wind noise and looked like crap. I cut mine to match the hight of the roof of the car.
