best place to order stripes

Just wondering where is the best place to order stripes for my 05 GT?

Is Baltimore Street Mods a good place to deal with? Who has the best quality stripes? I am thinking of going with 10 inch stripes with a 2 inch gap. I know other places like CJ Pony Parts and Late Model Resto have them as well.

I would prefer putting on the vinyl ones in case I change my mind at some point. Paint would be permanent

Can anyone else chime in with some advice?

I've seen this place mentioned in the forums but have no experience with them.

I used them for my set of stripes on the 05 - top notch and great people! I messed my stripes up when I first put them on the front bumper, and they worked with me on replacement. Top notch, great to deal with!

I had mine on for about 2-3 years before going to paint, never had a problem at all.

I had BSM stripes for about a year and then I had them painted on. The vinyl ones were all chipped up after a year. Any highway driving destroys them.
That said, baltimorestreetmods was easy to work with and they sent me replacement stripes for a very reasonable price. Watch out, the rear bumper can be tricky.

I agree with the above posts. I have installed BSM stripes on 3 different Mustangs, and the quality is great.

My Lemans stripes are now painted, which of course are much nicer but also very expensive to have done right!

So are you guys saying it is better to paint them on instead?? It sounds like a lot of guys put the stripes on first and then eventually paint them?

I drive my car only 3 months of the year and only on sunny days....so I would imagine hwy driving damage will be minimal.

Has anyone else dealt with BSM?

Veddy veddy nice! How many hours did the body shop charge you for and how much?

Is it that much better to paint them on? I thought the decals would be more durable.

They are 10-3/4" stripes and I put a 4" stripe down the sides with a bordered 1/4" pin on top & bottom of it.

I helped with the prep work and he charged me $900.

The chin and back spoilers were done later but that did include the stripes on the stock spoiler back when it was on the car.

I just checked another thread on here regarding Baltimore Street Mods and it seems like they are having some problems with a lawsuit against them?? Is this true?

I tried calling a number that a member posted and there was no answer and the box was completely full so I could not leave a message either. I am not too sure if I want to order something from a vendor who has their business up in the air.

Baltimore Street Mods, Graphic Express, Bob White Decals, Auto Trim Design & Rocky Mountain Graphics are the most popular companies for vinyl stripes. I've dealt with Graphic Express & Rocky Mountain & have been real pleased with their products.

They all seem like pretty decent places....though I really like Auto Trim Design's website. It seems to be the most complete for information and product.

Do you know if Baltimore Street Mods is still around?

i have dealt with baltimore street mods before. personally, i wouldn't recommend them. i ordered side stripes from them. the color on the color chart and the color they sent me was way off. they responded and he said the color they sent was correct. i told him it wasn't and that i wanted a refund. he told me they couldn't give me a refund, but that he would exchange it for me. so i ordered my replacement and they sent me the wrong design. i just gave up with that company.

When was it that you dealt with BSM? It sounds like in general they are pretty good and only recently I found a thread that they might be in trouble with some kind of lawsuit...so that is why I am wondering if they are still around??

I just emailed the guy, so I will see if I get a response. They do not have any phone number on the website.
