Best place to buy a GT500 rear spoiler?

As the title says, looking for the best, more reputible place for a unpainted (or perfectly matched) GT500 spoiler.

Links are appreciated.

I'd get a stock one from KC on here. Better fit and finish. And have a local shop paint it and match the paint perfectly. Or at least, that's what I did.

I bought one of the pre painted ones off ebay, but paint didn't match and the piece was very rippled.

EBAY: spoiler express or spolier store ther like 120 with ship painted to match. mine has had no problems

I know hatchman is saying his didnt match but He coulda sent it back and got another.. if he got it from the same one i did. theres many of us that have said spoiler and no issues.

After seeing the quality of the piece, with all the ripples in it from the blown molding process, I wasn't interested in gettting a replacement. Besides, the guy said all of the Mineral Grey ones were prepainted the same color.

Much easier to go down to my local body shop, the guy had 6 Mineral Grey formulas that were all the same for Ford Paint Code (TK), but each was a totally different color and formula to mix. I ended up spending about $270 for the FRPP wing and paint, but didn't have to drill any holes and no ripples. The FRPP piece also comes with a "back bone" inside the wing to give it added durablity and stiffness, no bending up of the edges, which is why you have to drill the extra holes on the cheaper wings, or risk the ends lifting up off the trunk.

But many have it and are very happy with it. I rolled the dice on the cheaper piece and lost, but got a full refund and now very happy with the Ford spoiler. Corners are a little sharper on the Ford piece as well.

Good to know! So you just went up to Ford and ordered the spoiler and hardware?

I would order it from KC. The screws are built into spoiler, and I had to reuse my stock spoiler's nuts, which I believe are 10mm. And it came with good quality 3M tape, so your 4 stock nuts is all you'll need. The hardest part of the install was getting off the stock spoiler's adhesive tape of the trunk lid.

PERFECT! My buddy ordered some parts from them not too long ago, and seemed pretty ligit. Could you do me a huge favor and snap some pictures of your spoiler? Specifically a shot of the trunk lid and the spoiler to see paint matching.

Thanks!
