Looking to get a set of springs. I dont want a drastic drop, but want it to look even. I also dont want to sacrafice too much ride quality. Should I go with a full set or do like some have been doing and just do the rear? Please post of pics of your ride height and how your car rides. Thanks!

My choices right now are:

FRPP springs
Steeda sport springs
Eibach pro kit

I can recommend the Eibach Pro-kit!

Have a look at www.eibach.com

You don't have to sacrifice any ride quality if you do the job correctly. But if you just swap out springs and don't intend on changing shocks/struts, I would recommend the Steeda springs. They seem to be the ones that I have heard degrade the ride quality the least.

Check out this site for some great recommendations. I chose Eibach springs because mine is going to be a street car for a while and I don't have any immediate plans to add new shocks/struts.

Jeff- I'll recommend the Steeda Ultralite springs. Same drop as the Sport, but a more forgiving ride.

Here's a link to my recent install: Steeda Ultralite install

Just put Roush springs in the rear to even out the car and no adjustable panhard bar needed.

I have BMR springs and couldn't be happier... make sure you find someone that truly understands suspension to do the work.

I JUST got Steeda sport springs put on my 06 GT today and I am having a hard time telling the ride difference in terms of smoothness between the factory ones. Seriously, they are that good! They don't slam the car down at all like my Eibachs did on the 95 GT. They are very nice and the drop is more conservative. Sure the feel is tighter, but I have found, at least with this car, that most of my roughness has come from the BFG-KDW tires I have on. Eibach's tend to have a more aggressive drop if you are looking for that, but you will pay a bigger price is ride harshness. I'll keep my stock dampers on for now as they seem fine, but the Tokico D-Specs are appearently the way to go.

Interesting that no-one is recommending Ford Racing's FR Handling Pack...

I feel the same way about my Eibach pro-kit. For me, I don't notice that the ride is much harsher. I actually like the way my car rides more now that I have the Eibachs. The Eibach springs (pro-kit) are only a little bit lower than the Steedas and they are a progressive rate spring, which means they will be less harsh for the small bumps you see on typical roads. For my money, the Eibachs are the best bet for the daily driver.

I am very happy with my Steeda sport springs. They lower it just enough with, IMO, no noticible reduction in ride quality. I've been in cars with hard suspensions... this is not one of them.

I have installed the FRPP handling package and I'm throughly happy with it. Lowered the front and rear approximately 1 1/2". The only time it feels "harsh" is at slower speeds over seams or cracks in the pavement. At normal highway speeds rides no different than stock, just turns a heck of a lot faster with no fade or sway.

From what I've heard, FRPP springs = Eibach, OR FRPP springs = Steeda.

They are 3rd party sourced. But with the FRPP kit you get the springs AND the sways, shocks and strut brace.

I had intended to install all 4 of my Steeda Ultralites, and started w/ the rear. When I was finished I liked the look so much I didn't bother w/ the fronts....and I don't think I will. The rear was lowered about an inch, and now is a little less than a 1/4 inch higher than the front. Looks plumb level!!
Here some before (top) and after (bottom) shots:
