Hey - just showed how she looked the week I got her compared to now
[and technically the suspenion kit and Series VI were installed by Saleen before delivery so..... heck its how I got her when she was delivered ]
Funny looking at those early pics now - sometimes almost makes me wish I left her looking EXACTLY the same and just upped the pulley and custom tuned it like I did (the ultimate sleeper)

Yeah I do plan on going out for at least the Saturday show. I have to check my summer school sked, which starts next week. I would really like to be there for Friday and Sat. I'll probably register at the beginning of next week, and try to get my roommate to do the same. wahoo!!

Ok how did you do that and did someone else do that for you with the SHR cap. I want that exact scripting because I'm buying some old 67ish GT emblems for the side's that have that scripting. That is exactly what I want just in black not red and I would like it to say FORD around the bottom like the current model faux gas cap does. So please tell me who did this for you so I can get them to do some work for me!!!!

I did not have a picture of it before any mods but here is a earlier pic and what it looks like now. I have about $4100 in it if you count the steeda springs as appearance also. **** and I still need a supercharger (next mod)

I did it :-) There was a post here from someone else who did this same thing. They ended up using the smaller emblem, but when I used that it seemed too small. This emblem is the 68 hub cap emblem. It can be purchased at a lot of places, but I got mine from Dallas Mustang as they're local. Both the smaller emblem and larger emblem have some curve to them on the back. You will have to wrap them in something protective and then put it in a vise to flatten out the back side of it.
The larger emblem is wide enough, and has a recess in the back that will fit thin double-sided tape. Just fit it with the tape, center it levelled, and press it on. Your biggest challenge will be getting the back of it flat.
Good luck!
