So I need to get my front fascia, hood, roof, rear bumper and trunk painted. I'm figuring that I may want to just get the whole car painted at this clip. Has anyone had their car painted and what did it cost you?

Just looking for a ballpark price for what this might run me.

 

since its black most paint shops my give you little option when it comes to painting the whole car.

My friend just had his 1990 mustang gt painted in CA for alittle over $5500.00

Black is the hardest color to get to lay right. It shows flaws, more than other colors.

 

I have paid over 3000 to a friend for paint. I would agree 5500-6000 for a decent professional finish on that car. It's the prep that makes it so expensive, and the difference in way the finish turns out.
