Baer 14" rear rotor vs stock rear rotors?

Does the baer 14" 2 piece rear rotor weight less than the stock rear one piece? Does anyone know? Anyone know the weight of the stock rear rotors or the baer 14" rotor? Thanks.

Wow, thanks for the info. Stock being smaller weight more than the 2 piece rotor. That's amazing. Did you weight the front rotors also? I wonder how the stock front rotor compared with the 2 piece baer up front.

I installed the GT-plus front kit with calipers. The Baer rotors+calipers weighed 3 pounds less each than the stock front rotor/caliper set up. I'm pretty sure the rear rotors where 1 pound less but they could have been the same weight as stock,I can't remember for sure though. I do know the rears were not heavier than stock because I was surprised when I weighed them.

Looks like the baer caliper and stock caliper are the same weight, but the difference are the rotors. I think the stock one weights a ton. I picked up the GT500 rotor before and those are massively heavy. I don't think the gt500 brake kit is even worth putting on, because the rotors are so heavy.

The gt500 front kit is very heavy. The Baer front kit has bigger calipers than stock with a pad area compairable to most 4 piston setups. The Baer calipers are also a little lighter than the stock ones. They are the same calipers used on the C5/C6 vettes. These brakes have awesome stopping power, you won't be disappointed.Plus they look great.
