Astra/Hammond Rear Window Louvers
UPS came today with the louvers I ordered from CR at Tillman Speed.
First impressions are favorable. Install was a breeze and took about an hour, taking my time. I'm only sorry that they aren't hinged.

I really want these for my Black 07 GTCS, how do you go about cleaning the rear windsheild?!?! PLEASE tell me, I will be ordering these SOON, also what are they made out of, are these plastic or aluminum!??!
They are connect by 4 screws on the outside of the windows. There are 4 thumb screws and 2 slide in notchs at the top. Probaby takes about 2 to 4 minutes to take off and on. Very easy. The whole thing lifts off

I thought they were. They don't look the same. They are more curved than the aluminum model. As previously mentioned, they come off in just a few minutes, without difficulty, making clean-up a breeze. I will be looking for some black anodized torx nuts to replace the nylon thumbscrews that come with the kit, because they come off a little TOO easy, IMO. OK, so I wish they were hinged, but if you really want hinged, you can always go with Visus, or Roush.
I cleaned my windows with windex and then finished with rubbing alcohol. I let the tape bond to the glass for 2 days before I installed the louvers. Those brackets aren't going anywhere after the tape bonds. Removal of the louvers only takes a few seconds. You will love them when you finally get them installed.

If your expecting a response from the OP's? I wouldn't count on getting one anytime soon. Their last activity on this forum was from over 12 and 8 years ago. Anyhow, just saying

You may want to consider contacting forum member: Glenn, who's still very active on this forum and also posted on this thread over 13 years ago. Just contact him directly by submitting a PM and perhaps he might be able to provide the info your searching for. Meanwhile, best of luck

I'm on some sites since as far back as 2001 still, if I get a response or pm, I get a notification. It was worth a try to ask, after all, "nothing ventured, nothing gained".
