AR Shelby Silver Razors Available yet?

Anyone know if the silver version of the shelby razors are available yet, they are series 199S according to the 2007 catalog. Last I checked with a local shop they said sometime in March. Just wondering if anyone has the inside scoop?

Still waiting on mine, I also heard sometime in March. Dave, there are "Bright Silver" ones but not the Shelby version ("Shelby" embossed on the spoke, snake center cap). Even the ones on the Blue and Black Prototype CS6's are regular AR series Razors.

Hopefully soon.

Yea I originally was thinking the regular razors, but then saw the new ones listed, and they have a much closer to stock backspacing of 40 available, as opposed to the 24 of the regular razors

I have a good friend who's a distributer of AR. Me and him have plans to go to American Racing tomorrow and look at rims. This is actually my number one choice (Silver Shelby's). I'll let you know what I find out.

I have the regular silver Razors and bought the Shelby centercaps separetly. Looks great to me. At that point the only difference is the "SHELBY" embossed on the spoke.

If they have them and you can get some real photos of the silver razors, I know they have pictures in the catalog, but those never truely represent the look 100%

Oh Darn! No digital camera yet. But I know the shelby CS6 has got the regular razors with some really nice photos on the shelby home page. Have you seen those?

Is this catalog online? All I can find with a 40 offset are 17 inchers.

No, I stopped at my local tire/wheel dealer and they had a 2007 AR Catalog there. I originally went in for the regular razors, then when I saw the silver shelbys with a better offset I decided to wait for them. They are listed as Series 199S for the silver shelbys 198S is the regular ones that you see out right now, just in case you find something that does show them.

Any idea on the price diff between the regular grey and the chrome. I have been strongly considering these wheels in 18" but I may wait until the chromes come out.

Well the 18" chrome on tirerack go for $261, these are just razors not shelby. I got a price of $205 for the shelby silvers from a local dealer

I guess I'm gonna wait a little while longer too, mother nature is a tease anyway. It was 70 on Tuesday, snows on Thursday

Well just got the grim outlook from AR. Apparently they won't be available for at least 6 weeks. 6 weeks to 6 months. I couldn't get a better answer than that. Looks like I'll be looking for the regular razors.

Ok weli, I am totally confused now. I just called AR and asked about the "Shelby" Razors in silver, meaning bright silver as the same color as below:

According to the sales rep. I spoke to he as no information on a "Shelby" version of this color being made.

How I understand it, is they (shelby razors) are not available in this color for at least 6 more weeks. That's probably why you're getting the runaround from whoever you ordered those wheels from (wink wink).

You should have asked them to look in the 2007 printed catalog, they are in there
