Anybody have any opinions on Saleen Replicas on our 2005's? If you have 'em can we see some pics? If not can we get someone to do a photoshop of the pictured wheel on a torch red?

That torch red does look good, but it seems as if the wheel size were as big as wagon wheels in the 1800s'. I think they look good, but just need to be a lil smaller for a better look.

They look pretty good! It's gonna be a tough choice when I buy rims/tires. Right now it's between these and Chrome Bullitts. As popular as the Bullitts are maybe these to have something a little different.... hmmmm...

Oooh, after seeing that I'm a bit disappointed. Maybe it's just bad pics or something but I'm not digging these wheels at all!!

I dont think they looked good in those pics either. maybe the tire size was wrong? seemed too small for the car IMO.

Mattie,
the ebay pics are 18" hoops. saleen does not make this rim in a larger diameter. the photochop above depicts ~ a 20" wheel. the ebay '05 w/ saleen wheels could really use a drop. practically any '05 w/o a drop and aftermarket wheels looks dorky. some suffer from acute/severe 4x4itis.

mattie, if saleen came out with this style of wheel in a 20" dia. i would definitely buy them. saleen's 5 spoker is one of the nicest wheels ever made imho. i love them.

foose makes the lusso in 20". i know, some of you guys may say it's a stretch, but it is somewhat similar to the saleen sort of. this rim in particular is a very love it or hate it wheel it seems.

i think the foose lusso definitely gives the '05 a distinct look more so than most wheels.

They don't have enough "weight" for the bulkiness of the design. The spokes need to be heavier on this car. This is one of the reasons Ford went with the fanblade style.

I agree that they don't look great in the ebay pics, but 2 things stick out at me, the fact that it has too short a tire and the fact that it is not lowered. Have you seen those wheels on even a sn95 that isn't lowered? I have, and it looks like doodoo. I think that with the correct tire and lowered, it would look awesome.

Just checked the ebay ad again, it has 245 40 18's, should be 255 45 18's. Thats the problem, well that and the fact that it isn't lowered. I think there is still hope that these will look good.
