anyone running 275/40 18's up front?

I want to switch these from the rear to the front before I buy a set of deep dish for the rear. I want to make sure there are no rubbing issues and how much it will throw off speedo? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Yep 275/40/18s on 18x9 wheels on all four corners. Stock springs up front, Steeda sports in the back. Picture:

tom,why are you not putting springs up front? I did the same thing initially but grew tired of the huge gap.

+1 Tom, I was looking at your car on the front of my Brenspeed parts book and I thought that the front looked a bit high. I guess you could say that I was nit-picking your beauty!

I may still do it...... As it is now, I like the look not so much because of the gap up front, but more because the car almost looks like it's accelerating even when it's sitting still. Here's a shot from last year:

Plus, with the CDC classic chin spoiler and stock front springs, I can still clear the parking curbs at the liquor store.

Nope Chuck. Stock suspension. Daily driver and I live 1/2 mile down a gravel road. During winter, I need all the clearance I can get...

How are the steeda sports compared to Eibach pro's?

The rears looks slammed Tom, like Eibach pro and not Steeda Ultra lites (which i planned to get for lowering/ride comfort). I heard the Pro-kit is a rough ride, wondering how the Steeda sports are?

The Steeda sports are advertised as the same drop as the Steeda ultralites, but with a stiffer ride. I had ordered ultralites originally but got the sports installed. I don't know how they compare to any of the Eibachs. As far as ride quality, I think it's fine but to be fair, remember I'm in the middle of corn land. The biggest bumps around here are when I pull off the street and into my driveway LOL. Everything else is flat.

That's a darn good reason not to lower it.

I need to get a better stance then stock. i want the ride to be somewhat smooth; i mean i wont be doing any offroading around here. I am a suspension newb and would have a clue what to get with springs...i.e.camber plates or whatever.

Back on topic...I also run a 18x9 inch rim and want to run 275/40's. I do what a tire that can handle rain so Nitto's are out for me; leaning towards KDW's for appearance and usability.

I'm at stock height with no rubbing full lock to lock. Going to lower it shortly, but I have plenty of clearance.

Yeah, I'm more of a lurker on this board.

Anyways, Nitto Invos on all 4 corners 275/40/18 on Black Steeda Ultralites.

Just ordered two-18X 10" DD bullits for the rear from American Muscle. Gonna go with 295/40' on those babies. I'll probably keep my old rims and tires just in case Thanks for those of you who responded. This helped me spend more money
