Has anyone put the pony chrome ring caps on the stock bullits yet? These are found in the Mustang Accessories list and have the running horse on a black background. I have seen pictures here of the spinners on the bullit and have seen the ring caps on the V6 wheel but not the ring caps on the bullit. Please post some pictures. Trying to decide between the ring caps and the spinners. Sorry if I missed it, I did search.

Also asked before if anyone had found a way to mount the caps from the original styled steel wheels of the 60s on the 05 bullits. Anyone try that yet?

Thanks, Drew

I added pony caps to my Bullit wheels. They are a huge improvement over the Ford oval caps. I thought that the 3 bar spinners looked odd on 5 spoke wheels.

Sorry no pics yet. My wife is out of town with the camera.

I just put them on yesterday. I think that they are a major improvement over the blue oval.

I am interested in seeing the spinners on the bullits. Can you steer me to the photos on that one?

Thanks Dave. Any other pictures with a more direct side view?

I'm going to order a set today to put on my Bullit wheels and get rid of those ugly Ford caps.

How hard are they to put on?

If you do not want to keep the ovals. You can pry off the cap and pop the new ones on. A wire retaining clip keeps the plastic prongs extended over the inner lip of the hole. If you pry them off they will break.

I took each tire off and put mine on correctly.

Thanks, I think I will take the tires off and put them on as well.
