I have seen videos of the hazards and basic sequencing, but would be curious to see what it actually looks like while braking? preverably a wmv file or zip it up so I can download it from work, LOL.

I just ordered the kit so I will know soon enough, but just curious
Thanks

I do not have video, but the action goes like this:

Once sequential pulse from inside to outside, simultaneously on each side followed by the bulbs staying lit until the brake is released. I hope this helps.

The sequential lights get the most approval from folks seeing the car.

Well, since no one had one I'm answering my own post since I got them today. Here's a video of hazards and braking in action for anyone who may be wondering like I was before I got them.

Video Here

They are the webelectric as my oringal topic states
They were easy to put in, I got the plug and play ones. Would have been a ton easier if I didn't have the shaker 1000. I can't believe that ford makes it that hard if you just needed to change a light bulb. There is one bolt that impossible to get to without removing the box and amp bracket. Almost that is I barely got it without removing the bracket, but had to remove the sub box.

I just installed the Webelectric splice kit. It is the way to go - no doubt. The product is good, and the customer service is excellent.

Hey Deku,
The webelectronics site has a video of the burst sequence as well as the hazard. Didn't you see it when you visited the site!

No I didn't see those, I just saw the basic example on the sequential page. I just looked around the site again to see where and still don't see any mention of them. Maybe im just blind, LOL

You CAN do it without removing anything, even with the Shaker 1000. It's just a royal pain, and your hands will not appreciate it. I managed to do it, but I also managed to drop one of the nuts from those three long bolts. It didn't seem to drop anywhere I could find (even with a magnet on the end of a wand) so I think it must have stuck to the sub magnet or something like that. The dealer was nice enough to give me another one he had, so I'll just hope that one floating around back there won't hurt anything

So for anyone who hasn't done it yet, and has Shaker 1000, you can do it, just be careful not to drop a nut, because you'll never find it again.

My husband and I installed the webelectric sequentials yesterday. I'd recommend these to anyone! We have the Shaker 1000 and were able to get to the nuts without removing the sub unit. It helped that I held the trunk liner/carpeting out of the way while he got the top nut, though. Also nice to have the extra set of hands to help guide the taillight units to avoid marring the bumper paint.

Ah, no you can't do it without removing anything. You need to remove the factory harness to install the one from Web Electronics. Just like F, I had to remove the sub box because my hand was too big to reach that last nut. Since you were able to you must have very small hands.

Kkickbacks? Ya right. I even helped him figure out how to stop the "burst brake option" and sent him pics of the wire harness and installation. No kickback or discount for me Needless to say, I did it for TMS members that want to disable that function.

Wow I stand corrected. Until my last post the guy from Web Electronics had kinda forgotten about me. I just got a nice "kickback". However that does not have any influence on my decision at all. From day 1 of getting my kit he has had great support and is very friendly. For anyone looking for a kit I highly recommend him.

P.S. Laurence, I spoke to someone yesterday with a 68 Shelby Cobra and he should be contacting you to see if you have something that will work for his car.

Thanks again

Thanks for the video. I was worried whenI saw it though. The video looks a little faster than the one I've seen in person, but "L" assured me it was just the video making it seem faster. Can't wait to get mine!

Just installed mine. They are PERFECT! They are not as fast as they are in the video. They are EXACTLY like the ones I saw in person the other day.
Thanks, "L" and WebElectronics!

When you buy this kit does it come with the backup light wired in the harness or do you have to do that yourself? Also I don't think I would like the tail light to "burst" when I apply the brakes. Is that something that can be deleted from the installation process?

the kit does come with the backup light harness allready wired in. Also to stop the sequence of the burst while braking its to my understanding you need to run another wire somewhere in your car. Its not that bad at all when you hit your brake they do ONE single burst from the inner most light to the outside light and then stay ON solid they dont continue to sequence while pushing on the brake
Hope that helps alittle.

Thanks for the info. I can live with one burst but if it continued I would think people would think that you had your emergency flashes on and that wouldn't be good.
