Looking to buy a black pre-painted gt500 spoiler for my 07. There are a number of pre-pained gt500 spoiler knock offs out there. Spoiler Store on Ebay for example. Anyone buy one in black? Black paint shows all and I'm wondering how the paint looks. As good as factory or does it show a little haze and wavyness. Thanks!!!

 

I'm curious too. Looking for one in Vista Blue for my '07.

 

ive heard from at least 5 people that bought from the spoiler store on ebay and they were happy with it. one of them had a black spoiler too. great pricing, thats where ill be ordering my vista blue one from here soon. post pics when you get it or whatever!

 

I just got my Legend Lime Green one from the spoiler store and I am very happy with it. The paint is not 100% match, but I would say it is over 95%...and it is not noticeable unless you stared at it for a long time and were really looking for an imperfection.

 

Yes, I got mine for the Spoiler store and the paint matched 100%. As a matter of fact, the finish was flawless.

 

How's does the spoiler look in black? Does it appear to be kind of wavy in certain lights? Does it appear to have a hazyness to it in certain light? Or does it look like OEM?

 

if you are that worried about it then you probably shouldnt get one. lol or just get a primed one and have your local body shop paint it for you. its going to be good enough is what people are trying to say

same here and i have searched and searched and everyone always says "ebay" or thespoilerstore. i found some painted for like 190 i think other places but you just cant beat the 125 shipped deal.

 

I bought a satin silver one from the spoiler store. Paint was dead on. My Dad was a body and fender guy and when he saw it he said the paint was flawless. You can't beat it!

 

Mine is silver, my friends is black, both are spot on and both from spoiler store. Mine is actually better than OE, the paint is smoother. For the price you can't beat it. If you don't like it sell it for what you paid and move on, before installing that is.

I bought mine from TheSpoilerStore too. It's fairly close to OEM quality, if not a little better as far as paint goes. The clear however is very soft. Don't get anywhere near it without quality microfiber towels or it's going to be a swirly mess.

 

I just installed my black GT500 spoiler from the spoilerstore. It's great quality and only $90.

 

I too have brought the Black (UA color) spoiler from ebay for under $100. I do show my car at local shows. Perfect??? NO but close enough to not matter. It has several small mold pimples and other minor inperfections. Would I buy it again ???? Yes If you are looking for a perfect finished spoiler you will not find it on ebay. I can find the flaws in a second but I've never had a car judge look that close to the spoiler to find them.
