Exclamation Any light wheels for less than $350 each!?

Are there any lightweight wheels (same weight or lighter that stock 17x8 bullets) in 18x10 or 18x9.5 for less than $350 a piece?

I really want to buy some new wheels to improve the look and performance without killing my wallet and adding un-sprung/rotational weight.

Please help!

Check out the Maxxim wheel here, under 2005 parts:

$189/each and even in the 18" size, is a few pounds lighter than the 17" bullets.

You can also look at some of the offerings from Steeda. Not sure if they are lighter than the bullets, but I don't think they are any heavier. The Pentars look pretty nice. I'd be curious to see what they really weigh.

Thanks for the link. Bummer it's only 8.5 wide, it's a pretty clean looking wheel.

Nice! 24.5 lbs for an 18 inch rim is pretty light weight.

In comparison the fully polished 17 inch Bullitts are 26.4 lbs.

Well, this is the thing, from Tire Rack their Wedsport TC-05 18x10 weighs 19lbs and is only $350. For that price, I know you can't get any where near it but I would be willing to go a couple pounds heavier if it were say $100 - $150 cheaper.

2nd the Steeda wheels. I love mine and the price is continually dropping due to newer wheel designs being marketed more.

The CR-T wheels are only $160 per wheel for the 18X9 black or gunmetal, and $225 for the chrome finish, and they only weigh 26 lbs. They are dead copies of the upgraded Ford GT BBS wheels. I'm getting a set of the 18X9 Gunmetal ones, after deciding "no" to Raceline GT's (couldn't justify the price for these!). For the money, you can't go wrong with CR-T wheels. I know a few on the forums have them and rave about them. Check the link below:

I sure do like the black ones, but 28lbs is a little too much to swallow. For an extra $130 each you can buy 18x10 Wedsport TC-05 that weigh 19lbs!! I'm starting to think the Wedsport could be the best value.

I was looking at these myself. I'm also considering the 18x9.5 Kazera KZ-A's at 23.8lbs for only $205, not bad.

If Little Black Pony is right and the factory 17" bullitts are 26.4 lbs, then going to 28 lbs for an 18" wheel doesn't seem so bad.

Greg, 28 lbs are for the 18X10 rear wheel. Unless your looking for a staggered fit, the 18X9 are only 26 lbs per wheel. Like Tom said above, these wheels are light compared to stock 17" bullitts at almost 27 lbs. Plus the price is good for the CT-R wheels. And I tried to find pictures of those Wedsports...they're all on tuner cars. Not my speed. Too bad I have to wait till December, as they are out of both gunmetal and black till then.
