It took a while, but I finally got her back. I had the antenna hole filled in, and painted, the mirros painted and the CDC spoiler and lower grille painted.Unfortunately, we have not had a nice sunny day in quite a while so she doesn't look as good as she does in the sun.

It looks fantastic!
What did you do about the antenna?
Is it in the interior or on the windshield glass?

Here's a few more, we haven't had a sunny day in quite some time so I don't have very good Pictures. Hope you like the model. She's my 6 year old daughter and she's had a Vanna complex since she was 2.

Nice looking ride odiaz. I hope to be picking up my 06 GT Torch Red Coupe soon.

I am looking to remove my antenna and replace it with an internal one. Can you give me some info on the interior antenna you used, where you mounted it? How's the AM/FM reception?

Thanks,
-tbone

I used an amplified "hide away antenna" It mounts on the inside of the windshield. I had to remove the visor on the right side of the car and all of the plastic molding along the windshield (it just pops off). I then ran the power cable along the windshield and replaced all of the molding and visor. I took power from the radio. I used a test light to find the pin that provided power to the radio. This way the antenna will have power as long as the radio does. I then spliced the power lead from the antenna to this wire. I had to remove the radio to get to all of the wires. The entire job took about 30 minutes.

I bought the antanna from mustang depot ($29.95):
http://www.mustangdepot.com/OnLineCatalog/...way_antenna.htm.

I thought about playing with a universal power antenna but I think this is much better. There are no moving parts and the reception is exceptional.

looks great, for some reason the paint on the mirrors makes them look smaller to me.

I like the painted vertical bars in the lower grill too.

I had the antenna hole filled in, the lower grille, CDC spoiler and mirrors all apainted at the same time. The local body shop did it for $175.

I don't have any problems receiving AM stations. The few times I listen to the radio it is AM stations for traffic reports.
