So I just put my 10" black stripes on my car. It's been "baking" in the sun and will continue to for the rest of the day. I'm looking at the forecast and it's calling for rain on Monday. My questions are: Will the rain ruin the stripes? Is a 24 hour period long enough for the stripes to adhere for good or is 48 hours better? I'm looking to travel back home Sunday from weekend vacation but if 24 hours isn't long enough then I have to deal with the rain on Monday to head back. Quite a delema.

Added note: keep in mind I'm going to be doing 75 mph, maybe 80, maybe 85....down the interstate...lol

My stripes got rain on them within the first 24 hours, I had no issues

 

If you had painted them on your wouldn't be worrying about it.

On a side note when I put the vinyl side stripes on my car it rained the next day and everthing was and still is fine.
