If I'm not mistaken, I thought they looked good on a 67 in the recent Year One adds. I think it depends on how tasteful it appears when it's in, "ricey" can be a fine line to walk when it comes to gimmicky things, but if you like it, more power too you!

I installed them or tried to over Christmas. I actually have the fogs and the OE headlight halos as well. Once I had taken off half the screws on the front end of the car I gave up and called my buddy who does all my performance work. He didn't have to do any splice work they both just plug into to the parking lights. I think that they look great. I was worried about the rice factor as well. They did not change to appearance of the front end. Now I just ride w/ the fogs on and the halos running on the outside. I installed silverstars in both set ups. I'll take pictures tonight and post them.

Here are the pics. I showed some of the different combos that they work in.

I don't know anything about these. Are those pictures taken with just the low beams and then the high beams, or can you control how they look?

Sorry if that's a dumb question, but I'm really curious about these now.

No such thing as a dumb question. The first picture is with just the parking lights on. The second picture is with just the parking lights and fogs. The third is of regular beams and fogs. The silverstars made a big difference I think. You cn also ride withthe main lights on and just the fog halos. And to answer the question those are not high beams just regular.

By the way I found the best price and blue oval industries. 109.00 for fogs and 199.00 for the hedlights. THat's about 100.00 cheaper than everywhere else for the headlights and 50.00 for the fogs. I will say that there is a sloght color differnce b/w the heads and fogs but I still think they'r **** cool. By the way the heads are a lot mire disctinct than in the picture.

They look Great Ryan!!, where did you buy them? I had a set in my car but only worked 3 days, they started to blink and then finally they stop working...

Ryan, let me ask the next set of detailed questions.

You mentioned "plug into the parking lights." I take that to mean that there is a wire from the halos which goes to the parking lights, thus the halos are on whenever the parking lights are on.

If this is true, here is how I understand the different combinations based on having halos installed for both the fogs and regular headlights.

Switch position:
Off-- means off
switch detent 1, switch pushed in-- parking lights on, headlight halo on, fog halo on
switch detent 1, switch pulled out-- parking lights on, headlight halo on, regular fogs on
switch detent 2, switch pushed in-- parking lights on, regular headlights on, fog halo on
switch detent 2, switch pulled out-- parking lights on, regular headlights on, regular fogs on

Please correct me if I am wrong.

In my case I have factory HID's (I would not mess with them, they are great) plus I have the Roush fogs, so I would have even more combinations (since I have a switch to go between the factory fogs and the Roush fogs).

Bob, all of your combos are correct if I understand them correctly. And yes, as soon as the parkinng lights are on the the halos are on. Unfortunately, I didn't end up finishing up my headlights my buddy did. When I looked at the lights both fog and outsides they had wiring coming out of them and w/ gold connectors at the end. They appeared that they would just push into the parking light plugs. And to the best of my understanding from my guy who installed them that's what they did. I hope that answers your question. If you need anymore in depth answers post them and I'll ask the guy that installed them.

That looks so cool. I wonder what halos would look like with the center fog light grill.

Thank you Ryan. Electricity/wiring is an area I am not comfortable with, but if it is as simple as plugging something in, I can do that.

John, that's exactly the setup I am thinking about.

The only thing I will say about the portion of the install that I attempted is that a lot of stuff had to be taken off to get them on. Now if you're thinking of just doing the fogs that may not be that difficult. I started w/ the headlights. It was like peeling an onion. Everytime I thought I had taken off enough screws to get to the lights I found something else that needed to be undone. Like I said if you decide to tackle it yourself, pm me and I can try and get the low down on how my buddy did it from beginning to end. The parts did not come w/ instructions.
