American Racing Wheels

I recently just came across a very good deal on some American Racing Redline wheels on eBay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-In...#ht_2425wt_854

I was wondering what I could sell my wheels for? They are the 18" polished aluminum bullitt style wheels that are stock on the California Special. Have very minor nicks on three of the four wheels, and still have a very good shine to them.

Anyway...
Just to show what the redlines look like on a mustang look below.

I had the polished 18" bullet styke wheels on my gt when i bought it. I was using the stock wheels for winter tires after i got my current wheels. I ended up selling the stockers for $500 since they were pitted and nicked. Unless they are in excellent shape i wouldnt count on anything over $500 unless u can find someone who is desperate for them.

Wow... $500 seems pretty good if you ask me. That means these new wheels would only set me back $150. Now I just have to find someone that wants to buy my current wheels and I'm in business!

Dont forget about the tire pressure sensors that are on the stock rims. It wont hurt anything if you dont have them you will jist get a pressure sensor fault every time u start the car if you dont put them on your new wheels.

You can transfer these from wheel to wheel? Is it difficult to do?

You have to dis mount tires on the stock wheels and just slide them off. They are on a big rubber band. Them just put them on the the new wheels. But try to remember which wheel u pulled them off of or you will have to go the the dealership and have them reflashed to by them. Not a huge deal but inconvienent.

No problem. If you choose to leave the current sensors on your stockers you can buy more from ford but they are oretty pricey.
