I think a hood with nostril scoops like those on 1968 Shelby GT500KRs would like just kickin' on a vert. Have been considering a CDC shaker, but would rather hold out for something like the GT500KR.

Anyone chop a hood like this on their computer?

Go to www.fangperformance.com . You will see our artist rendering of our next project a yellow convertible. Check out the hood.

I did come across that rendering; it looks great! If practicable, will the hood be offered as stand alone item or only as part of a package?

Darnit FAng...your killin me. Can you get some more pics and info on your stuff on your web site?

I'm interested in some of you stuff (like your spoiler, your Shaker system and your chin spoiler AND ESPECIALLY your side scoops (do you have quarter scoops?)) but you site just has those couple pictures that I can't really tell anything.

PPPPPPPLLLLLLLEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSSSEEEE.

i know blow by racing has a hood out that's got the double scoop thing - it's a full replacement (fiberglass), not just stick on scoops like CDC.

the scoops aren't as low down the hood as the pic you posted but it's similar.

Thread

I think they've exceeded their bandwidth in posting pics but if you right click on the pic and copy the URL, you can see more.

These hoods need some type of venting installed. As you may have read before, with the amount of air that gets trapped under them at higher sppeeds, these hoods love to shake. How about a type of cowl vent, in the black plastic portion at the base of the hood. Anyone seen one?

The hood is $479.95 - i emailed them and they told me they're made and ready to ship.

I don't think it has venting from what i can see, but i bet it'd be easy enough to cut the scoops into real holes. With a fiberglass hood though, i'd imagine you'd need hood pins so that may help with shaking i heard that they're going to make a 'functional' version too but nothing's been mentioned in a while.

maybe someone can photoshop it to be one colour. they did have pictures of it before it was painted (all white) but it was hard to tell since it was not the the colour of the car...

anyways, i'm strongly considering this hood it's just that my car isn't scheduled!!
