Has anyone heard if any of the major players have a concept hood in the works? Cervini... Steeda... Anyone?

I'm sure we'll see them at SEMA. In my opinion, the new Mustang is crying for that concept hood. It was so sweet.

What is the concept hood? I can't see a difference on the concept car. Pic?

The concept has nostrils near the front of the hood.

??? Steeda states that it has 05 parts for sale already. Too bad no pictures have been shown.

I like the production hood better. But that's one of the only things I like better on it from the concept model.

C'mon, have a close look at those mags.......the lower stance, those awasome taillights.......those body-colored side mirrors......That's my car....but hey....i'll live with the production one, which isn't gonna be bad looking after i put new mags on it, lower the car a bit, and get those side mirrors painted......Unless a SE comes before i decide to get a GT!!!

IHMO, the '05 Mustang concept car is one of the few concept cars I've seen that actually looks close to what went into production when looking at the exterior. I just wish we had the supercharged V8 available right now

I love both, but I have to say I really do like the concept a little better. But understand, I was so relieved when I saw the production version, I was expecting some kind of FoMoCo let down, but I totally think they delivered

While I like the concept hood, it will look kinda dumb with puddles of water in each scoop.

I am sure the aftermarket will have variations of the concept hood soon after the SEMA show.

The pic in this thread may not be the best shot of the concept, but from those two pictures I like the production best. It looks more retro and that is the main thing I like about the '05.
