I want and have ordered a grill from Muscle Car direct end of august. I am looking for a grill with the fog lights in the center of the grill for the 67 shelby look. Is this the only place to go or can anyone tell me who has them instock.

MCD is telling me they are waiting on Street Scenes to ship. Whats the deal.

Thanks just needed to vent :bang:

Patience grasshopper. It is not MCD's fault. Street Scene has not released them yet. Trust me, I want them more than most people. By the time they release them my car will be in storage for the winter

http://www.davemillerperformance.com/index.html You'll find one here. Miller uses a water jet to fab and generally has one or two in stock. It going to cost more than the SS version - enjoy......

Hey guys its Mike from Street Scene- sorry about that- we actually did release the the 6 cylinder to GT conversion and should have the "shelby style' grille available shortly. We have had supply problems from some of our sub vendors and we are on them to get us product asap. Ill try to keep you up to speed on this as soon as its available. Dont be mad at Muscle car- we are to blame and take responsibility. This is going to be a popular piece and we are just as anxious to get it out as you are to get it.. Ill let you know soon! Thanks for the input and kick in the #%$ ! You have motivated us to work harder to get this out soon... Regards- Mike

Mike is the man! We know you are working hard on that grille, Mike. No worries. And to the starter of this thread... don't be mad at MCD. They are a great business, have excellent customer service and the best prices around. I understand you are impatient, but don't take it out on them. Just a suggestion, but I'd seriously consider changing the topic title or at least editing your first post with some sort of apology so that you don't go giving people the wrong idea about Muscle Car Direct. As far as I know, you'd be the first, and only, person with a problem with them.

No offense to MCD, but If the part is still not in stock, don't list it as being shipped on the order status. Just a honest heads up on the status to the part. Not after I email and call and everytime I hear 1 to 2 weeks, for 6 weeks now. Just tell me that ?Hey we don't know? also don't charge my credit card for the part when its not in stock and don't have a good idea when it will be. That's kind of wrong...

I am waiting "patiently" for the part and will be really satisified I am sure when it does arrive

I didn't know they charged your credit card. It may be because they have put you on the pre-order list... meaning you will get one of the first ones to come in. And yes, you have to pay for that right. These things are gonna sell like hotcakes, I'm sure. But MCD is wrong for not saying that on their site. They could have put a note there saying the grilles are not in yet, and pre-order them now, or something to that effect.

I chased these down yesterday and have some update- we did a run of shells however not enough. Those are out at the painter now. ( we pre-paint the shell so you wont have to) They are due back from the painter any day. We will call them this AM to shake them up and get them to ship asap. The wire harness kits and grille inserts are ready to go for this. As soon as the shells come back, all we need to do is install the grille inserts, stick them in a box and ship them. The balance of the grille shells are being produced right now. We will then send them out to paint as soon as the new run is finished. This process is going to take a few weeks. Long story short, we will ship some by the end of next week and the balance within a few weeks. The above discription is for the center mount GT grille. (I.E. shelby look) If you are waiting for the 6 cylinder to GT conversion grille (lights mount in the normal GT spot) These are on the shelf now and ready to ship. Hope this helps!

Mike, thanks for the info. I can't wait to see the final product. I am eagerly awaiting these for my car, even though it won't be here till April.

I'm still waiting to see the center-mount grille installed and pictures taken while all 4 lights are on (at night) and just the fogs on (during the day) before I decide to put this on my car. It looks great with no lights on, but I drive around with the fogs on during the day... so just want to make sure it looks right. Hopefully, as soon as someone gets the grille in who has ordered it already, they'll take a few pics showing the different light combinations.

we designed it so that you use the factory lights and housings. This will give you some adjustment to the angle of the lights and allow you to point them in the right direction within reason..
