Now that the honeycomb panel is out, does anyone make the 70 Mach I style stripe for the trunk lid? This would be a large center stripe with a narrow stripe completely surrounding it. I have seen a very thin "heritage stripe" but I am looking for a larger stripe like the 70. There would seem to be two challenges. The trunk lid seems to be highest in the center and slopes down to either side so the top of the stripe would probably need a gentle curve (not a flat line like on the 70). The other issue is of course the third brake light. The best idea might be to remove that and have the vinyl cover that area with the light installed over top of it.

Anyone see anything like this out there? May have to have my local vinyl guy take a shot at this. Thanks.

From his description, I think he's talking about something like this photo of a fangperformance stripe and ducktail. Not sure who (if anyone) makes this design for a stock rear end. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Thanks guys, both are possibilities but I was thinking more of something like the fang stripe. That one would not work for me as I don't have a ducktail. Has anyone tried either one of these with the new honeycomb panel?

Hey Drew, you might want to pm tapd117. It looks like he may have the stripe style you are looking for in his avatar.

Did you get my e-mail with the pictures of the rear stripe I used on my 05 GT?

Your attached picture is not currently working. Too bad, I'm curious to see it.

Glenn,

Did not get the email. Sent you an email with another address to try. Looks like other folks want to see how this came out!

Thanks, Drew

Here's what I'd like to see. It's a photoshop of a 71-72 Mach 1 style rear stripe on a CDC ducktail equipped stang.
