I have been looking at the old 69 hood scoops to try to put on an 05 mustang.
Since I have paint & body experience I am thinking about haveing somw fun and see.

Just not sure about the turn signals in the back of the scoop, may leave those unwired.

Any suggestions or comments..

This one? I have been thinking the same thing. I would also like to add the 69-70 chin spoiler and a CDC duck tail. I am going to get a set of the black/chrome 03-04 mach1 wheels w/ 255/50's to replace the bullitts that are comming on mine as well. Add the black-out on the hood and between the tail lights + back edge of the DT, and you have a pretty close copy of the 69 mach1. B)

I bought a reproduction fiberglass hood scoop from a '65/'66 Shelby and will one day be rivetting and molding the scoop on (before I have my stripes painted on). I think putting on a '69 scoop would look great too. You'd have a one of a kind hood.

I have had the same idea - put an old Cobra Jet style scoop on the 05.

I would love to see some pics, even if it is just a "test fit" to get an idea of how well it looks... (hint-hint)

Hood scoop is looking nice. This is what's missing on the car for sure.
:worship: to the first one to post pics.

Something doesn't look right with those chops. The size of the scoop is out of proportion to me. Should look more like this:

Well boys, I just so happen to have one of these scoops maybe I'll see if I can dig it out a take a couple pics for you later tonight. I'm going to have to find a way to place it on the car without marking up the paint.

I have also thought about this mod, I dont think the 69 chin spoiler will fit the 05 but I could try that as well, Hummm wonder if the 69 rear louvers fit.....

Stick-on-hips sounds inherently wrong to me....like something two women would need to make love
