For the V6 owner who wants a more aggressive look without the overkill of other body kits, what do you think of the lip kit by 3dCARBON? If I had the money, I'd buy it and have it painted matte black.

It isn't bad at all.
Personally I'd rather get the bumpers off a GT for cheaper than that for similar cleaner look. For those who wan't to be different and not copy, then it isn't too bad.

Looks pretty good.
I think it's a much better solution to improving the look compared to making a fake GT.

Hot, except the spoiler. But that's a lot of $$$, I wonder if that price includes having painted to match? I wouldn't think so, but based on the price, I'd hope so. But heck they're throwin in a set of louvers...

You have to take into account you're looking at California Mustang's website. THE most overpriced Mustang store in the country.

You got a point. I already scraped my stock front bumper exiting my driveway.

That's the first time I've seen that spoiler, not too bad. I think I'll be going with their other spoiler (or maybe the GEFRacing spoiler) but it doesn't look bad to me, and it cover's the stock holes for those of you with them.

And any V6 owners that buy this kit, I'd be interested in your rocker panels.

You're looking for a set too, hugh?

Took me forever to find someone I could buy a set from. (Thanks, P_Kiley!)

That looks really good on the white. I'd like that on my car too, for sure. Gonna have to wait a while though, gotta buy a garage for it first.

I definitely would also like the V6 rocker mouldings on my GT. I keep seeing that "lip" that is there on the GT and disliking it, but I didn't realize there wasn't one on the V6!

It looks like there's just "less" there on the V6, so exactly what do you have to do to switch it over? And what are you switching over? If you could, email me at tms@schmads.com about that stuff if you have the time.

So when a V6 owner puts bumpers on, he's a poser wannabe driving a fake GT, but when a GT owner puts on V6 rocker panels, he's simply making his GT his own. I see how it is boys!

They look good, by the way

True enough... although by the same logic, people getting the GT500 would also be "fake V6s" to some degree, since the Shelby uses the V6 rockers.

I think the big distinction is that the GT front end (mainly the fogs) are a GT defining trait - the black rockers on a V6 really aren't.

Now if a GT owner put the pony package grille and fogs on... that would be a different story.

The rocker mouldings on the V6 are the same shape as on the GT. The only difference is the color and texture.

schmads, you have a PM.
