Well, I had my louvers installed about two weeks ago. Today, I got out of my car and noticed that one of my louvers was missing. I had only driven about 10 or so miles today around town and only hit 65 mph at the most.

The louver was either A) ripped off by a vandal or

B ) ripped off by the force of the wind.

In either case :notnice:

I tend to think that the louver was ripped off by the wind because there was no 3m adhesive residue left on the window; it was definitely a clean break. When I pulled off the right side louver it left adhesive on the window. I must say that I am surprised because it took a significant amount of force to remove the right side louver. So I guess I am out a little over $300.

If anyone is interested in decent condition legend lime painted right side louver email me.-I'll cut you a great deal!

I'll go with "B" the wind did it. A thief would steal both louvers, a vandel vandelizing one louver Thats a shame either way they really looked good on your car.

Sorry to hear that. I know the 3m on my Roush lovers were hard to get off.

Yeah, Johnny, you never know, it might have blown off and soft landed on grass. It's possible. It would be great if you could recover it and reatttach it. But would you do it differently, or just add more tape?

I backtracked part of my route. The other parts of my daily drive (rts. 7 and 28 here in N. Va) are roads that are full of cars traveling at near highway speeds. I have resigned myself to the fact that it is gone.

As far as contacting 3D Carbon, that is an idea.

I had a pro do it. This is the same company that put on my 3m protective clear bra on the front of my car.
