3.73

Hey, new to the app, I have a 07 mustang gt with flowmaster American thunder 40 series exhaust, I want to get mor acceleration but dont want to break my pocket doing it, I looked on americanmuscle.com and saw motive gears and Richmond gears, I was thinking about getting with 3.73 to get a little more low end quickness, I have worked on cars for years but have never done a rear end job, the price for the gears is 180 shipped. How hard would this be to install myself, I have a two car garage and plenty of time on my hands but I don't want to take it apart and break anything or hear Any noise... If anyone has done this install and has tips on how I should start it let me know. Thanks

I did one rear end years ago and failed at it lol. But with the right tools and teacher it can be done in the garage. I would find someone that know what they are doing and just have them do it. I think theat would increse the comfort level, instead of wondering if I did it right or not for 6 months after I did the work
