I had to line mine up just perfect, and then there was a perfect small "rim" all the way around, but not noticable.

darn those things are nice looking. How much effort is it to put them on? Is it just a sticking them to the window thing?

yes these are the second generation and this was just a test fit. just got some tape and took some pics for u guys. from what i see u first have to sand everything straight first. it comes with the tape and 2 packets of adhesion.

The last louver fin looks really crooked. Is that from sanding or did it come that way? If it came that way, bummer. If it is from sanding, sorry I brought it up

Seriously though, did it come that way?

That said - I would return them in a heart beat and let them know you don't appreciate the quality. Maybe they will send you a new set that they actually inspect before sending out. I really like the louvers, but the quality has got to be better than that - I think they sent you a bad set and didn't realize it.

Good luck.

The problem with all the new louver deisngs is the original were inset not sticking out the side of the car DUH, Thats why they all look to bubble like to me....Someone design a lover that replaces the back window, is set into the car and also acts as a vent and i will buy em....

What do you mean by "acts like a vent"? A lever inside to open a small window inside the louver or a lever to open the louver itself (because it would be flat when closed.) Or is the vent "permanently" a vent?

Those cuts just look sloppy. I'd send them back for a better pair

Wow - those looks terrible out of the box. (Quality)

I would return them. This is why I get so bummed when I see the louvers. The manufacturers are complaining about how long it takes to tool these things and they are of poor quality. And I've seen more bad ones than good at this point.

Like someone else posted here - I want to see someone step up and tool a really nice version that replaces the glass with a vented option (that you could close or something). I want quality, not double-sided taped on aesthetics.

And yes, I'll pay the higher price.

Mine were great. They needed a little prep work, but the fit and quality was great. If I were you , I would call Mike at Street Scenes and let him know.

You will have the ridge around the outside , but on , they look great. I was very pleased with mine.

Wow, that is some bad quality there.

Trick, I hear ya on the more authentic looking vents (not louvers). So far, the MRT versions seem to be the lesser of all evils, and more like the originals.

Yeah I agree. I like the MRT version much better for looks. But I hate that you can not see out of them. So I will be getting the SS ones because of that. Just hope they are a better quality than those pics

SVT200020,

MRT louvers are open, you can see out of them (3dCarbon has the "closed" louvers).
