275/45/20's ???

been offered a set of prototype wheels from work20x9 and 20x10- but dont care for 30 series tires...shelby will be running 285/30/20 on 10"rears, but in pics Ive seen they look a bit too low profile for me... I'm wondering if 275/45/20 would fit in the rear/255/45/20 fronts (car NOT lowered) to both fill the wheelwell a bit , and not look like an O-ring around the wheels...realize gearing will be lost with the bigger tires, but could always put 4.10's in...just wondering if anyone out there is running a tire that large in diameter on a Mustang?

275/45/20 is HUGE! They don't belong on a Mustang, put them on a truck. Run some Nitto 275/35s.

I have 255/35/20. I like the look of the rims but I also see cars like Tom281 and really like the look of beefy tires on 18" rims.

EEW...tried them on tonight, and yes- its WAY too big for a mustang
only 1" front/rear, 1.5 up top, definitely fills the wheelwell, but to a silly extent To me, still looked like a 'rubberband tire'...I think 18" should be maximum wheel diameter that still looks in proportion to the car, with 45-50's...guess I'll just have to wait for a set of 18's
