Do you guys think it would be a problem mounting 265/35/18s on a 18x8 wheel?? I am getting ready to order some new tires for the wheels I ordered and would like to put these up front. I know the 285s will be fine on the 18x10s in the rear but couldn't find any info on that size for an 8" wheel. ANy help would be great...thanks

IMO, that's a little too much on an 8" wide wheel.

Just curious, why are you going with such a small diameter tire? Are you not worried about your speedo or the huge wheel well gap it will cause?

I'm lowering it so between that and the 18 inch wheel I think it should still look sweet. Is there a website that shows the maximum tire width versus wheel size??

Try the web site of whichever tire manufacturer you're going with. I think some of them have recomendations. IIRC, 255 is the max for 8".

Thanks. I figured 255 would be the max for this wheel. I might go with a 40 series tire just to make sure the fender gap is up to par.
