I searched and couldn't find any previous info on these tires so if this has been discussed I apoligize. I'm thinking of going with 18" bullitts with bf goodrich 255/55/18's. The difference in diameter from the stock 235's and the 255's is 1.8". I think they will fit, anyone know for sure? And, do you think they will look good? Thanks in advance for any replies/advice.

Everyone can disregard this post. I learned 255/55/18 is a truck size. My bf goodrich kdw 2's 255/45/18's just came in from The Tire Rack today. Thanks for everyone's imput

I haven't checked but do they even make a 255/55R18? I have 255/45R18 on the front and 285/40R18 on the rear. If you meant 255/45, yes, they will fit. There have been several topics regarding that size, but as I said, I don't know about the 255/55. IF that is the size you want to go with you do realize that will put your speedo out of whack.

I think they'd look terrible. Too much sidewall. Why would you want that? Just go with the 255/45/18's.

You might get into an issue with the front wheels rubbing, or being very close to. I don't think you'd have a problem in the back though. Just remember to reprogram your car to accept the different wheel height. (I know Diablo does this, not sure about SCT)

I realized that was way too much tire, in fact, its a truck size tire. I went w/ bf goodrich kdw's 255/45/18. Thanks for your imput. They came in from the tire rack today!!!!! Now just waiting on my 18" bullitts from Mustang tuning.

Based off the size of the set-up (29.0), I made and installed a bracket that I taped to the existing tires to simulate the new size. When I turned the front wheels, it rubbed, so I backed down to 255/45 - 18's also.

Plus - Your tire selection in the 50's and 55's arena for 255/18's was kaka.
