I liked the HRE's on the 3d carbon joint. I fear what it would do to the ride of the car etc.

Yes, your ride would be harsh. If you want big wheels, 20's are the biggest I've seen that don't look horrible. 20's are borderline. You want to get out and have people say 'nice car,' not 'nice wheels.'

Actually the stance of the car on the nice wheels creates the nice car. I live in Philly...we roll big wheels. I've seen peoples stangs with 18's and they look like hot garbage, the wheel wells on this thing beg for 20's at the very least.

I talked to some folks at 3d Carbon, and they said that while the 22" wheels look great on a show car, they would recommend going with 20" wheels as the largest wheels on a car that will be driven in any sort of real world conditions.

22 inch rim? Why must you guys do that to a Mustang. It's not a race car. Or even a sports car. It's a muscle car. Oh but I digress. It's your car. Do what you want. Do you actually have a tire that goes around the rim, or do you just drive on the rims?

Thanks again!
I checked the link, it says those are 20" rims, not 22". Don't get me wrong, they look great even though I'm not too fond of chrome. I think 20's fill up the wheel well perfectly. Personally, if I were to get a GT, I'd wait 'til the '06 becomes available w/ the 18" fanblades. Call me what you will, but anything less than an 18" wheel doesn't look right on this mustang.

As for the comment, you forgot what Chris Rock said about Shaq;
"Here you go Shaq, go buy yourself a bouncin' car or something, Bling! Bling!"

Thanks for the chop, its between these and the foose lusso's. Slavehand, waiting on the 06 is not an option as I have my 05. And its cool if people don't like the wheels, I know how my crowd will react. I'm sure most of the peeps on here don't pay more the $30 for a pair of jeans, me...i'm into style. That's not a slight but look at where the majority of people in this thread live.
