20x10's all around?
20x10's all around?
I apologize in advance if this is a topic that has been discussed; however, after searching, I didn't find the information I was looking for.
I am looking at getting a set of Saleen wheels, and was wondering if I could go with 20x10's all around with a 275/30 (or 275/40 -- whichever is closest to the overall diameter of the stock wheels)? I am also going to be lowering my car with a set of Roush springs.
Thank you.

The stock wheel/tire diameter is 27.17 inchs. A 275/30/20 will give you a diameter of 26.49 inchs. As far as fitting a 20X10 inch wheel on the front I'm not sure. Saleen runs a 20X9 in the front on their cars.
i see that FRPP is offering steering stops for larger wheel applications in the new 07' cataloge.I've talked to a FRPP rep and the reason for the stops is rubbing when a full turn is made. These stops are offered for wheels up to 18"x 9.5".I would definately do a test fit with the tire/wheel combo and make sure your application does clear.I have run a 20"x8.5" wheel with plenty of clearence but a 10 inch wide rim up fornt plus the section width of the tire(if any) could lead to problems and compromise your safety.
A 10" front wheel will fit. Make sure you have a +45-50mm offset and you're set. 275/35 would be the tire size. It's been done MANY times now, and I've seen an 11, but IDK if there were any other mods to do it.
