might be getting a set of prototype wheels to try out, but dunno if I like the look of the 30 series rubber...anyone out there running a taller 20? thinking maybe 265~275 40 or 45 series might not look so 'rubberband-ish' at the sidewall, but dunno if they would fit. fronts are 20x9 with 255-30-20, again a taller sidewall would be more my liking...and I dont intend to lower the car, a bit bigger tire to fill the wheelwell might be better too(will think about re-gearing if needed)...cant decide if I want to toss that kinda dough at tires for them, or just get the dd bullits and tires for just a little more cash...thoughts/suggestions?

 

I think Saleens ship with a 285 40 20 on a 20x10 and those look pretty good. I run a 265 35 20 on all 4 on a 20 x9 rim. The rear could use a bit taller tire for sure, but I can rotate with all the same tires.

 

I have 295-30-20 (26.96")(on mine which is a hair taller and many are runnin 275-35-20 (27.6")which is taller as well.

FYI 285-30-20=> 26.73"

 

I've got a buddy who runs a Toyo 275/40/20 and it looks nice. Almost looks oddball though since most of the tires in this area are 30 Series.
