I like the new chizeled look. The only difference I see in terms of the shape of the perimeter (that might affect fit in the grill) is the shape of the mane. Has anyone tried this? Will it work??

 

If your trying to put in the grill for an 11 GT/CS or the 11 MCA in your 05-09 Mustang it wont fit. I'm assuming your talking about one of those two and you want a grill like this?

 

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I meant just taking the chrome logo from the grill of a standard Mustang GT and mounting it in the grill of an 06 GT. It looks to be roughly the same size and perimeter and looks like it might fit, but I wasn't sure if anyone had tried it. I know a lot of folks here either remove the pony altogether or black out their pony. I just like how well defined and sculpted the new emblem is. I would imagine that the grill assembly won't fit at all because the front end is signficantly reshaped.

BTW ... Love those wheels on your Stang. They remind me of the wheels on my Marauder.

already tried it with the black pony emblem, won't fit.
