2007 Mustang aftermarket wheels

I was just wondering who all has aftermarket wheels on their 2007 Mustang and what you did about the air pressure sensors. Tirerack wants $450 for sensors and to install them in the new wheels. I would rather reuse the factory sensors if it is not too hard to install on the new wheels.

Anyone? Certainly someone has changed out the wheels on their 07.

I wasn't sure if the '07s actually had that feature or not. My '06 was rumored to have it and it is even described in the owners manual, but the car doesn't actually have it.

You keep the same sensors. You just buy new bands for them. Ford has them for 40 bucks each, but I was told Napa has them for around 15 bucks. When you install them, make sure the sensor is opposite the valve stem. Helps in the balancing of the rim.
