The rice rocket mag "Modified" did that with a carbon fiber hood on a WRX project car a month or two ago. They took a carbon fiber hood, stripped it's finish off. Then reverse masked a stripe down the center of the hood. Painted it to match the body color and clear coated and sanded it so that there was no ridge where the paint edge stopped. Id like to do a Mach I stripe like that myself on my '98. grounddynamics.com has carbon fiber hoods in stock and cowl shapes if your interested.

What about the ram air/shaker set up in the center? And the hood locks look like the ones I had on my 73 Mach.

Thats the CDC (Classic Design Concepts) Shaker hood for the 2005 mustang. CDC should have their site updated and selling new products by the beginning of next year. http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com

I'd love to see that hood combined with Ford's GT-R front clip.

That shaker is non-functional. I lifted off the hood and it is just sitting on top of the intake.

Yea if it doesn't work I don't want it, which means the hood too. Like the hood locks though.

Does anyone have any additional info on the Shaker concept hood from CDC that they showed at SEMA?

I think it is a great addition to the car if they will offer it.

I like the shaker a lot (had the CDC shaker on my 2001 GT), but those hood locks are ALL WRONG. Look how close they are to the center of the hood. They should be pushed out to the front corners of the hood.

Love how they brought back the "arrow" hood lines from the 69-70 Mustang.

functional or not, that hood rocks. It would be cool if they did horizontal stripes leading off of the sides of the hood like some of the BOSS 302s
