2005-2009 Mustang Rear Mud Flaps

Who all has them, and if so, what type did get? If you can, add some side and rear view photos. I cant imagine it looking that great, but ive heard numerous people mentioning them in the last week or so.

I also have the OEM's for my V6. Pics later from home if I can remember.

They fit like a glove and protect my rear quarters from all the road debris in my neighborhood which is still under construction

Hey Colby, I have the OEM splash guards on my car and they're great. Since my car is more of a show car, driving to all the shows I do, the area behind the rear tires was a PITA to clean all the time. I put these on and all the grime...GONE!! See the pics below to get an idea how they look. Yeah, they are there, but they don't stick out like a sore thumb. All I know, is the paint is now protected and there won't be any marks to deal with, and cleaning up for a show is a snap.

Thanks Jeff for tossing those pics up. Looks good. Any shots from the rear of the vehicle?

Whats the price on these? Are there better ones to buy..like GT500 ones vs GT/CS ones? or are they pretty much all the same?

No problem dude. I actualy don't have any pics from the back, sorry. If I took a dead center rear shot, you wouldn't see much anyhow. I see you have a CS. These won't fit your car. You have to get the ones that are in the pics above my post here. The Shelby ones are the ones for the California Special as well. They are ALOT cheaper than the ones I have. Even though they are smaller, they still to a great job in helping keep the rear quarters clean.

the differnce being the rear bumper of the gt versus the gt500 or gt/cs is different.. though very slightly, i dont think the ones on your car would fit his right

Thanks for all your input and pics. I will call Ford tomorrow morning and get some.

Larry, I dig how your car looks, I like that side stripe. Im soooo curious about people putting the rear louvers on though. IMO they remind me of an old iroc. I dunno...Do you just like the looks of them or is there another reason? not knocking, just curious.

Looks only for me. My last Mustang before this one was a 70 Boss 302. Then came the kids, mini-vans,etc. When I got this one, my 2 big items I wanted was a Shaker scoop & the rear window louvers.I'm definatly old school!

I've had a set of these instant splash guards on my car for a year now, I think they look really good. Install or remove easily.

They have lots of pics here:

The mudflaps save paint and keep that road tar off.I've run them on all the S-197's I've had.

Ford Stock GT Splash Guards...

You do have to pull the rear wheels/tires off for installation btw...

Also keep in mind while viewing pics, I have a 1" spacer on rear wheels ...yeah, either you love it or hate it...
