I'm thinking about getting g-Force T/A KDW's. I don't know much about tires... are these decent?

i'm assuming you're going wider out back, ya?

anyways, generally for a 8.5 manufacturers say anywhere from 215-265 (sounds crazy...but i've read it in several places), depending on the diameter/profile etc.

For a 20x8.5 up front I'd do 255/35/20

I've been doing a bit of research, and the following are sizes available in 20" that would fit a staggered set up, as well as the tire weight:

255/35/20:
SP9000: 26lbs
Pilot Sport: 26lbs
AVS sport: 29lbs
S-03 PP: 31 lbs
G-force TA KDW: 34lbs
Falken FK451:

285/30/20:
SP9000: 27lbs
Pilot Sport: 29lbs
AVS sport: 30lbs
S-03 PP: 33 lbs
Falken FK451:

295/40/20 (pretty huge profile):
SP9000: 37 lbs
G-force TA KDW: 37lbs

As far as the tires themselves, just check TireRack.com for reviews...or just google. They don't seem to have the right sizes for a good staggered set up, and they're really heavy in comparison. Maybe try one of the other brands I've listed there.

Kirby, do a search on the forum for the BFG tires. A lot of us have them and love them. I did my first burnout with them yesterday, ooops....just wanted to leave a nice wide and long mark on the road to say "Adrenalin was here"
