Question for everyone that has 20 inch rims. Did you also lower your car? If you did, how much and do you rub anywhere? Also what size tire do you run? Would like to get 20s when I get my car but also want to lower. Looking to get rid of the gap between the fenderwells.

As has been stated NUMEROUS times, it's not about the size wheels you get. It the size of the tires.
Unless you want to have to recalibrate your speedometer, you have to stick with a tire that is very close to the stock tire diameter. (27.2")
The recomended sizes for 20" wheels is 255/35/20 which is (theoretically) 27.0".
But that leaves a VERY small sidewall, which will give you an extremely rough ride and a very bad (anti-Mustang) look.

You'd better tell Steve Saleen he doesn't know anything about sports cars.

I personally wouldn't go any bigger than an 18 myself, but if that's what you want you'll most likely only want to lower the rear, if at all.

dont listen to the haters. if you want 20's go for it. and i would say use a 255-35 and you should be still ablt to drop it about an inch or inch and a half depending on the off set of the wheels. i have 22x8.5 on my 05 and i still have room to drop it an inch with out rubbing anything, also im running a 255-30-22 and even though its a small side wall the streets in houston are not that bad and its NOT a ruff ride you just have to watch out for pot holes and speed bumps. in my opinion you should not run over those fast no matter what size tires or wheels you have

I'll let you know next week. I have 20's and am dropping it 1.5" with the Eibach prokit. Don't know the tire size, but it's pretty beefy on 20's I like them. I got a great deal on the rims and tires with free shipping, mounted and balanced for $1600.00. Let me know if you are interested and I can tell you where I got them. I know the guy pretty well. The wheels look amazing and I get nothing put compliments.
