Do you think the aftermarket will attempt this?

Do I think they will? No. But if someone does and the price is reasonable, then I'll buy it.

 

I bet it's already being worked on. Those are nice but aftermarket LEDs worry me. I have had sets in the past that have failed quickly. Unless someone makes a set that had a good warranty and is priced right I probably would avoid them.

Maybe that' all Ford should have done to the rear of these cars. Than maybe the new rear wouldn't look so terrible.

 

I know someone on S197 forum is making them, it is taking him awhile though. I will see if I can find the thread and post it up.

I'd have to see what the actual quality is like, but if someone did produce these, I'd at least give them a serious look.

 

I don't think it looks bad. I feel it adds uniqueness to the rest of the crowd at the least. I personally went with the smoked aftermarket LED on mine.

 

I'm actually looking for the thread now, but someone did this with plasti-dip.....it looks sick!

I'm doing this to my '12...
I have 1 side completed, but forgot to take a picture. Both tails are sitting in my living room right now. I'm going to have a full write up of everything I did to make it happen. It looks sick!
