07 V6 Mustang

This is what I have done to the exterior of my mustang. Front and rear GT500 bumpers, GT500 spoiler, GT500 hood and GT500 wheels. Obviously going with the GT500 theme. Anything else to add anyone? Remember exterior.....

Here are some better pics. Next mods would be suspension and brakes. Any suggestions?

Very nice job. Did you start off with a standard V6 or a Pony Package V6?

My gut feeling would be to not try pass off your V6 as a GT500.

replace cobra emblems w/ 4.0 or something like that. Make it however you want, but don't badge it with something it's not.

Do what you want with it, have fun. It doesn't matter what others say.

Yeah if he wants a tribute to a 1977 Cobra II with a 2.8 liter V6 then let him have it...

What bafflles me though is him going to the trouble of changing all the ponies to cobras then placing a rocker stripe on it that says Mustang... WTF!

I didn't change the emblems. My car came with none. It was a standard v6. The mustang vinyl on the rocker is coming off soon. Want to change the emblems just can't seem to find something I like other than the snakes. Maybe custom? I don't know. Well see. Keeping the rims and tires. Next will be suspension. Any suggestions?

No emblems sounds good to me. I wish I could do that on mine, the stupid holes really tick me off.

If you can find them , a set of the powered by ford emblems would look good ...

I think the best mod would be an engine & tranny swap...

That's one thing I love about my gt/cs. Although before I put the $200 powered by Ford emblems I was accused of having a v6. To the op I don't see anything wrong with a gt500 clone but the stickers on the rockers look wrong. I would do the suspension and keep what u got going. Just act like your to mature to race yourr gt/500.

If you're talking about the powered by ford emblems , I got mine off ebay and like 2005GTDELUXE said they were around $200. I believe the emblems Torch_Vert has are from billet badges , I looked into getting some made and they were going to be around $75 each. Once the plastic powered by ford emblems fade , as everything does down here , I'm going to get some made there. However they can't use the "powered by ford" on them , you have to use something else ...
