05-09 Mishimoto air diversion plate

I have an 05 GT and im contemplating getting the carbon fiber radiator support cover for looks but then saw the mishimoto air diversion plate.... i started coinnsidering going with it since is actually has a function (going for looks but if i can get something functional i might as well right),i was wondering if anyone has the air diversion plate?? Does it make enough of a performance difference in anything to be worth it or should i go with the carbon fiber cover?? Thanks

It doesn't appear to that the Mishimoto air diversion plate does any more than the stock plastic or the carbon fiber covers. You have to give up the hood latch and use some other method to hold down the hood to really force the air through the radiator. Air takes the path of least resistance which means it will spill off the top, sides and bottom of the radiator rather than go through the radiator. Here is what I did.

So far I would have say it hasn't hurt. Even on 100 degree days running 130+mph the water doesn't get over the thermostat 195 degrees. And IATs go up and down really fast running 115 degrees normally.
