USC Overated or Not?
Well basically USC has been my favorite team since I was a child, I loved them even when they were garbage. Now under the great coaching of Pete Carroll they have risen to the top of the Nation 2 years in a row, and have won the national title two years in row. What do you think about USC?
I'm a UCLA fan, and I hate to admit it, but they're not over-rated.
They've waxed pretty much everybody they've played.
The offense has looked awesome all season, and the defense is coming around.
Barring injuries, they should be downright scary by bowl time.
(But I've got my fingers crossed for an upset Dec. 3rd)

I dont think its UCLA that USC should worry about, its looking over the next game with Fresno State that could be a wake up call for them. Everyone talking about how they are on the way to the NC game, they might be overlooking this team. Course Carroll should keep them focused and prepared.
They are NOT overrated... they are a bunch of cheaters!
Notre Dame beat them... you can't push a teammate forward and call it forward progress
Those officials are useless.
``I used all 200 pounds of my body to push Matt in,'' said Bush.
Hope to see USC in the title game thought, and win. I'm sort of a USC fan seeing that I don't live that far away from the U.

USC the cheaters? Nueter Dame only has to win 8 games to get into a BCS bowl. That's cheating. It was a well and hard fought game, USC vs. ND, it knocked alot of sense into USC's defense.
:: clearing throat ::
According to the NCAA football rules book (under a section called "Interfering for or Helping the Runner or Passer"), Article 2.b. states: "The runner shall not grasp a teammate; and no other player of his team shall grasp, push, lift or charge into him to assist him in forward progress."
Cheating? If a team wins at least 8 games of the hardest schedule in NCAA football, that's an accomplishment. And for ND to clinch they need to win 9
And yes, that was probably the greatest NCAA football game (sports game for that matter) that I've ever seen.

Over rated.....they're only rated high because of the pansy hiney schedule they got. Give those teams to anyone in the Big 10 and they'd get clobbered too. The Pac10 is a weak conference and one of the reasons why USC looks "good".
Until they actually play a team of high caliber they are totally overrated. That's why Texas will just romp on them. Put them in the Big10 and they would not be where they are today.
Weak Conference + Weak Teams = looks good
The best NCAA game of the season has to go to todays UofM-OSU game

My two favorite teams are my Washington Huskies and whoever is playing USC. Chill, the second part was a joke.
USC isn't overrated. They're the most dominant team in college football today and I think they'll beat Texas in the Rose Bowl. They've got more weapons on offense and I believe their defense will come up big time against the Longhorns. It's going to be a great game, and that's why they play them.
I can hardly wait.

USC is overrated, but a good team. If they had a schedule where they palyed more high-caliber teams like Notre Dame thruought the season, they wouldn't look so un-stopable. I think Texas will show that they are beatable.

As for the Big 12-Pac 10 debate, I'm not even going to address the issue. Discussing/arguing about it is one of the things that makes college football so fun. It's the old "on any given Saturday/in any given year" thing.
As proof I offer my Huskies. They were a powerhouse in the 90's but they've sunk to a level of medioctity I can hardly belive thanks to Rick Nueheisel. There's always next year...

Their defense better tighten up
