Yeah, so far it's a pretty serious beatdown. I'm waiting for the "overrated" chants to start from the USC fans.

I don't think Auburn has much of an argument now. USC looks like they could beat anyone.

OU OU OU this isn't the team that shut out Texas. Bob Stoops is on heck of a coach, i'd say hes nearlu like Barry Switzer he hasnt been panicked yet, I question Chuck Long's playcalling, OU's secondary, and the teams confidence in itself. Next year will show what Stoops has, he has a basically new team next year...can't wait and I want to see Chuck Long gone. i feel for White he is the greates quarterback i've ever seen, I can't stand Leinart...anyway...tthere is a next year

BOOMER SOONER!!

USC just annihialated OU. there is no question now who is number 1 in the country. There were no excuses for OU, USC is just the better team

and their team next year should be even better... 16 of the 22 starters return!

OU could have done better, but I think Pete Carrol led his team better here, USC is dominant, wait in a few years OU will be back

There's no guarantee Leinhart will be back. That would be a big hole to fill if he leaves. Let's see one year of college or $60 mil. Not a hard decision in my book.

there is a greater chance of him leaving, especially since he already got an economics degree in 3 years... we'll see what happens. they did say he wanted to stay to have more fun

How about a little love for the west coast, huh? I for one was glad to see USC not just play well, but dominate a team from the Big 12. Every year it's "The Pac-10 is a weak conference." We get no respect. Well at least USC proved otherwise finally. Obviously my Huskies were pretty pathetic this year, but overall I'd say it's tough to get through the Pac-10 undefeated. Way to go USC!

We need a playoff already, I still don't understand why they don't do it. It would bring in more money then the current setup. I guess it makes too much sense.

"analysts" said they need a few more years to work out the kinks, they don't want to drag a boring season on into February, but they want enough teams to make it fair, i dunno what'll happen
hard to have a perfect season, i say just have a playoff with the top so many teams..

Forget the money, they need to make it clear cut. One winner, no questions. I'm tired of shared championships, and teams claiming that they deserve the same honor. Playoffs are the only way to go.

A playoff wouldn't draw out into February. The teams don't play for a month, month and a half, plenty of time to have 3 weekends of playoffs.

And they have been working on these kinks for almost 10 years, and they fail nearly every year. College football postseason is a joke. 3 teams finished the season undefeated. That's rediculous. I say an 8 team playoff would be perfect. That would mean you have to win 3 games in the playoff to win the championship.

point there...i've only heard them bring it up seriously for the past few years...but it should have been recognized WAY earlier....the reason i thought there should be more teams than 8 is that there should be more of a chance for the underdogs to get in...
