I must admit that I now think that the Bears will win it this year......... Jason, i'll give you that $10 in September....

I am sat here watching the bengals v steelers game and inbetween plays / tunovers, one of the talking heads is some bloke called Shaun Gayle, never heard of the guy personally.........

Well . . . as much as I would like to throw the Bears in the Superbowl I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch. Should be a great game with the Panthers this coming weekend. They already defeated them once this season.

Would you like me to forward you some stats of Mr. Gayle?! I also have the 'Super Bowl Shuffle' reading for viewing/listening if the Bears can get there. My white #34 jersey is all prepared for wearing next weekend as well!

This weekends matchup between the Panthers and the Bears should be good.

However, if the Bears do beat Carolina, there is absolutely no way they can come to Seattle and win with that offense.

I don't care how good that defense is, you can take away the run then Hasselbeck beats you with the pass, you take away the pass, then Alexander runs all over you like he has all year long. And so far this year no one has come to Seattle and left a winner. Don't get me wrong Chicago's defense is the best in the league & Seattle's offense is amoung the top. I'll tell ya this Seattle scores 21 points, Chicago will be lucky to get into the double digits.

It aint gonna happen Bears fans, but ya can pat yourselfs on the back for making it to the NFC championship game granted you can stop Carolina

Well since my Giants are out, I'll be cheering for Da Bears in the NFC and the Steelers in the AFC.

I think its going to be Chicago against Indy. Hasselbeck is not that wonderful in my opinion. Alexander is amazing though.

We'll see what pans out though.

Not one player try the whole left side of the Offensive line, with a full back that will knock the teeth outta ya.

As far as not being impressed with Hasselbeck, the guy is the best QB in the NFC no question. How can you not be impressed with a guy who has 24 TD's with 9 INT's, thrown for 3,459 yds with a QB rating of 98.2%. Compared to a guy like Peyton Manning, whom I think everyone can agree is impressive. Mannings #'s aren't much better than Hasselbeck's in 2005. Don't believe me pull his stat's and compare.

By the way did any of ya'll see the starting lineup for the Probowl.

If ya haven't here it is http://www.nfl.com/probowl/nfc_roster

Notice that Walter Jones, Steve Hutchison, Matt Hasselbeck, Shaun Alexander, and finally Mack Strong ARE ALL STARTERS on the offensive side of the ball.

Yes, Alexander is amazing, but if you watch any interveiws after he recieved the league MVP you'll notice he credits his full back and entire O-line. If Alexander gets hurt (won't happen, he's too shifty and avoids big hits) then his back up (Mo Morris) will run all over ya. Keep in mind the back up running back has had two 100+ yard games this year and he dosen't get playing time.

Na, Carolina will again eat up a rookie quaterback for the second straight week!!!!!!!!!

Although I would like the Bears to win, I don't think it'll happen.

At last, another Seattle Seahawks fan on TMS! It confounds me that the media has yet to jump on the 'Hawks bandwagon. I understand and appreciate the sins of the past few years, but come on. 11 straight wins, undefeated at home back into last season, league MVP in Shawn, a top rated QB in Matt, and a top rated defense that is basically new this year. Should be quite the media-blitz after they trouce the Redskins this Saturday. My wife and I are flying to Seattle for the game since it is the Seahawks 30th season and their first playoff appearance since 1984 and I believe their first home non-wildcard playoff game ever.
