So who believes Suh was really trying to balance himself when he stomped on that Packer?

He made the motion to stomp but didn't actually put his foot down. Kind of like a pro wrester would.

I don't know how anyone could think he wasn't stomping him. I don't think his family could even believe that. Totally reminded me of Haynseworth and Gurode.

I'm guessing at least 2 game suspension.

I'm *hoping* at lease a 2 game suspension. Dude's a mess. I would hope he'd be out until next YEAR so he gets his mind straight, but I don't think that's gonn happen.

---

But enough about them Lions, I wanna pine for the Texans are now. #1 seed in the AFC, and they won today to keep it, but... TJ Yates is the QB now...

/*rocks and sucks thumb*
//waited SO long for this year to happen... Dangit, Houston, why you NFL teams gotta be torture monsters...?
///Maybe he's Brady or Warner in waiting... one can hope...

With a name like TJ I doubt he's the next Brady or Warner.

Cheer up though. He could be the next Romo!

I... might could be ok with that. Romo on this team wouldn't suck as hard as he does in Dallas, I would wager.

I'll just settle for "Trent Dilfer-like" 'not lose the game' proficiency, though. The 2000 Baltimore Ravens team is now the idea I think is gonna happen with the Texans.

/And no using the P-word. But I still hope the Texans can make it to the Festivus.

Yeah. Dilfer/Ravens and Johnson/Bucs. But those were some awesome defenses. I haven't watched Houston to see if they are in that league. I do prefer Rob Ryan's defense in Dallas to Wade Phillips who is now the coordinator in Houston. A Wade defense is a solid defense, but it's never a scary defense.

The Texans sign Jake Delhomme as a back up QB. They are being proactive at least.

I love it when they asked Kubiak about getting Favre he said he didn't want to bring the circus to town.
