N.E. football was such a snooze when I was young I'm happy with the pats just being there. Props to the giants.

 

Manning owns Brady.

IMO the giants kicker had a huge part in that win. He pinned the pats inside the 10 yard line 3 times. He did it another time but the giants player couldn't keep it from the endzone. GIANTS!!

 

I don't care for either, but quarterbacks don't play against each other.

 

Brady still got one more ring. That's all that matters

 

Well, it could be said that all Eli Manning does is beat Brady and win the Super Bowls he's in... 100% winning percentage vs 0%... I'd say that's 'owned'.

AND... Manning could probably win one more. That team is... interesting, to say the least.

Doesn't mean that it's not a major accomplishment that Brady's been to 5 Supers in 11 years. Pretty decent stuff there.

 

Brady has more. Eli has his number but Brady has more jewelry.
Eli could win more, but so can Brady. We'll see what time brings

 

Just kind of hard to believe those were the best two teams in football. Free agency and parity has really diluted the top teams.

 

They weren't. hell the Giants were 9-7 in the regular season.

Well, that's a LOT to ask, but their defense was definitely on par or not better than the dynasty years.

 

Yes. The defense definitely was. Whatever happened to defenses win championships?

 

This is going to sound like a cheesy excuse, but they played too good. Two interceptions that weren't made because two Niners getting to the ball at the same time, twice.

 

All I know is that unless the Texans have another huge rash of injuries... and/or they can't keep the core players that kept them in it until the second round...

All the other teams better be lookin' out.

I'm not as upset by the patriots loss as I am to the fact that football is over till August.... That sucks.
And next year is going to be a great season I can feel it. Go pats

Soccer is not even fun to play. I'd rather play kick ball or dodge ball. Even at 39 years old.
